Waste To Electricity (WtE)
A Waste to Electricity WtE converts biomass and organic waste into producer gas, which is then used to generate electricity. In a controlled, low oxygen chamber, the biomass heats up and transforms into a clean, combustible gas. This gas powers engines or generators to produce reliable on site electricity.
How the system works:
Biomass → Gasification → Gas Cleaning → Gas Storage → Gas Engine/Generator → Electricity
Waste To Electricity (WtE)
Syngas is used as fuel in internal combustion (IC) engines or Gas Turbine Engine that are coupled to a synchronous alternator, which produces electricity. The thermal energy generated in the form of combustion gases, both in the gasifier reactor as well as the IC engines (heat recovery) or Gas Turbine Engine is used for generation of Electricity or Organic Rankin Cycles (ORC), etc. ensuring full utilization of the waste power coming into the gasification plant for end use.
